A license system exists in our Racing system. You may see some references to licenses on MyMXB but it’s not in use actually. More info later on this topic.
In my opinion after having a Pro License a while ago and still Racing Amateur events like the SX Futures and Lorreta Lynns if you are going to do a licensing system you would be better to base it off of the AMA. I know it would be a lot more work but there are probably 10 C Riders for every Pro Rider since the game was released on Steam and the constant upgrading made it possible to do all of this! I would do an Amateur Championship as well as a Pro Championship. Some rules would need to be adjusted because after all, it is still just a videogame no matter how real it feels.
Supercross License
Start a Futures Class and Tracks so people can get their Pro Supercross License because we all know how hard Supercross is to learn in this game and the mellowed out Tracks will help a lot. When your building the Pro Tracks just make a replica just with more forgiving sections.
Motocross License
Do it the same way they do in AMA Motocross. You earn Pro Points from Racing at Amateur Events. You can even hold a Loretta’s now that would be insane and knock MX Sim right off the top step of the podium for Motocross Simulator Racing.
I know I am new to the game and to the community but I have known some of the members for years and I know what I am talking about when it comes to real-life Pro Racing. So I am always happy to help if you have questions or anything at all. I am just happy to be part of the community I was a Sim player for a while and hated everything about their community. MX Bikes is a lot different and I have a feeling it will one day make MX Sim obsolete!
Cheers!
